From October 31 to November 2, Western Balkans University hosted an engaging orientation program for new international students.
Over the course of three days, the International Students Office organized informative sessions that guided students through their academic journey. Participants also had the opportunity to explore the campus, with notable highlights including the Library and the Physiology and Anatomy Labs.
Students from the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Economy, Technology, and Innovation met with department heads, academic advisors, and professors who provided valuable insights and guidance to support their studies.
A key component of the orientation was learning about Albanian culture, followed by discussions on local DO's and DON'Ts, as well as a session dedicated to handling culture shock and adjusting to life in a new country.
The program concluded with a city tour of Tirana, where students had the chance to explore the vibrant capital and its many attractions.
This well-rounded orientation provided international students with the tools, knowledge, and connections needed for a successful start to their academic experience at Western Balkans University.
