In a world where technology and finance go hand in hand, knowledge about financial security and smart decision-making is more important than ever. This event was organized by the Career Planning Office at Western Balkans University, in collaboration with the Albanian Association of Banks (AAB).
For this reason, an open lecture was held at Western Balkans University as part of the Global Money Week, where experts gathered to share their knowledge with students. The invited speakers were Ms. Entela Prifti, Security and Protection Manager at Raiffeisen Bank Albania and Member of the Cyber Security Committee at AAB, and Mr. Reglend Xhango, Security Department Manager at OTP Bank Albania and Chair of the Cyber Security Committee at AAB.
The discussions focused on the importance of cybersecurity in the banking sector, the challenges and solutions that modern technology offers to protect financial systems. Students had the opportunity to better understand the impact of cybersecurity and the importance of making smart financial decisions.
At the end of the lecture, the guests answered students’ questions by offering practical advice on financial protection and safe money management in the digital age.
