On the occasion of World Autism Day, Western Balkans University hosted an inspiring session with Ms. Brixhilda Muça, founder and executive director of the “Lumturo Dhimjen” Center.
Ms. Muça shared her powerful story as a mother and an activist, recounting the challenges she has experienced and how they led her to create a center that provides free therapy and support for people with autism.
She emphasized the importance of awareness, empathy, and community involvement — encouraging students to take action, whether by getting informed, raising awareness, or contributing their time as volunteers. Her message was a poignant reminder of the impact we can have when we are guided by understanding and compassion.
