The Western Balkans University welcomed Mrs. Klodiana Shala, Olympic champion and one of Albania's most successful athletes, for an open lecture organized by the Department of Medicine and the Office of Career Planning. In her lecture, "Living like an athlete", Ms. Klodiana shared experiences on the challenges of an athlete's life, the dedication it requires and the sacrifices necessary to pursue a sports career. She spoke about the difficulties she encountered in her beginnings in Albania and emphasized the importance of discipline, structure and strong will to achieve success.
