In the framework of World Down Syndrome Day, the Career Planning Office at WBU, in collaboration with Down Syndrome Albania, organized a valuable workshop aimed at raising awareness and promoting support for individuals with Down syndrome.
The guests, Ms. Flavia Shehu, Director of the PRO PAK Service Center, and Ms. Erinda Skura, Employment Program Manager at Down Syndrome Albania, provided students with a comprehensive overview of the organization, the services it offers, and their valuable experiences in supporting individuals with Down syndrome.
This class expanded students’ knowledge of Down syndrome, enabling their understanding of the challenges and opportunities of individuals with this syndrome, while encouraging them to reflect on their role in creating a more inclusive and supportive society.
Collaboration, awareness, and commitment are the keys to building a society where every individual has the opportunity to grow and contribute!
